UPSC ESE Prelims 2021: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the time table for the ESE Prelims Exam (Prelims 2021). The Engineering Service Examination Preliminary (ESE) will be conducted on July 18, 2021. Candidates who will appear for the exam can visit the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Let us tell you, the Stage I exam of ESE will be conducted in two shifts – the first shift will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. General Studies and Engineering Aptitude paper will be conducted in first shift and second shift in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Telecom Engineering (discipline-specific paper).

Exam Time
The duration of the first paper will be of 2 hours. There will be 200 marks in it and the time of second paper will be of 3 hours, this exam will be of 300 marks.
The candidates who qualify the ESE Prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the main exam followed by the interview. The recruitment drive will be conducted for 215 vacancies in Survey of India Group ‘A’ Service, Indian Defense Service of Engineers, Indian Naval Armament Service, Indian Skill Development Service, Central Engineering Service (Roads), Central Power Engineering Service, Indian Radio Regulatory Service and other services. will fill the posts.
