Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the recruitment notification for more than 40000 Group D posts. Soon the process of application for these posts of Track Maintainer will start. These recruitments have been taken out in various units of the Railways. The selection for these posts will be done on the basis of written examination.

Responsibility
The job of a track maintainer will be to maintain railway tracks, check the condition, clamp and joint of the truck. Apart from this, they will have to keep an eye on the breakdown of the tracks and ensure that the track is smooth and safe for the train.
