Education Qualification

Must have passed 10th (Matriculation) examination with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized board. Apart from this, ITI pass certificate course should be done in the relevant trade.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should be minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years as on January 1, 2023. The recruitment notice states, “The age as recorded in the matriculation certificate or birth certificate will be counted for this purpose only.”

Relaxation in upper age limit will be given to reserved category candidates as per government norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the merit list (trade-wise) prepared in respect of all the candidates who applied in the respective trades. The merit list for each trade will be prepared on the basis of at least 50% (aggregate) marks obtained in matriculation. For the purpose of calculating the passing percentage of matriculation, the marks obtained by the candidates in all the subjects will be counted and not on the basis of marks in any subject or group of subjects.
