OPSC Notification 2022: 351 Posts Recruitment of surgeon, Know Details

OPSC Notification 2022: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited applications for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (VAS) for a total of 351 posts. These recruitments are to be done in the Fisheries and Animal Resource Development Department of the state government. Please note that these posts are temporary and are likely to be permanent. Odisha Public Service Commission has sought online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to these posts. Out of the total 351 posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (VAS), 96 posts are unreserved, while the remaining posts are reserved for the SEBC, SC, and ST category candidates of the state.

What are the educational qualifications of OPSC recruitment 2022?

Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science or its equivalent qualification from any recognized University. Along with this should be registered under the Odisha Veterinary Practitioner Act, 1970.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate applying for these posts should be more than 21 years and less than 32 years as of January 1, 2021.

How much application fee for OPSC recruitment 2022?

Candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as an application fee.

SC/ ST and PWD (whose permanent disability is 40% or more) category candidates are exempted from the examination fees.

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests and viva-voce tests.
