Educational Qualification

The candidate applying for these posts of the Department of Posts should have passed the class VIII examination from a recognized Board of School Education. Along with this, they must have one year of experience in the relevant trade. OR Certificate in relevant trade from a recognized institute.

What is the age limit of India Post Recruitment?

The minimum age of the candidates applying for these posts should be 18 years and the maximum 30 years. The upper age limit will be relaxable by three years for OBC candidates, five years for SC/ST candidates, and ten years for physically handicapped candidates.

Salary

Skilled artisans will get a salary of Rs 19,900 (Level 2 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC)

Selection Process

Skilled craftsmen will be selected through competitive trade tests from the candidates having requisite qualifications and valid driving license (for Mechanic (MV) only). The date and venue of the examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates separately at their correspondence address. No intimation in this regard will be sent to the candidates who are not eligible.
