Selection Process
SSC Stenographer Recruitment Exam will be Open Competitive Computer Based, which will be held in November 2022. Only those candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Steno in the Ministry/Department/Organization of the Government of India who has skill in stenography. Although the details of vacancies have not been given yet, the Commission (SSC) will inform the vacancies on its website in due course.

What is SSC Stenographer eligibility?
Education Qualification
Candidates who have passed the class 12th (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board or institute can apply online for SSC Steno Jobs.
Age Limit
- Grade C – 18 years to 30 years
- Grade D – 18 years to 27 years
Upper age limit relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per government norms.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 100 while women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of a fee.
