SSB Recruitment 2023: Education Qualification

Head Constable (HC): Must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
Constable (Tradesman): Must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
ASI (Para Med): 12th pass with Science stream from a recognized board and degree in relevant trade.
ASI (Steno): Must have passed Class 12th (Inter) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
Assistant Commandant (Veterinary): Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science.
Sub Inspector (Tech): Degree or Diploma in relevant field from a recognized University.

Assistant Commandant (Veterinary): 23 – 25 Years
Sub Inspector (Tech): 21 – 30 Years
ASI (Paramedical Staff): 20 – 30 Years
ASI (Steno): 18 – 25 Years

The selection process for SSB Constable Recruitment consists of a written test, physical test, document verification and medical test.

SSB Recruitment 2023: Salary

Assistant Commandant (Veterinary): Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500 (Pay Level – 10)
Sub Inspector (Technical): Rs.35,400 – Rs.1,12,400 (Pay Level – 6)
ASI (Paramedical Staff): Rs.29,200 – Rs.92,300 (Pay Level – 5)
ASI (Steno): Rs.29,200 – Rs.92,300 (Pay Level – 5)
Head Constable (HC): Rs.25,500 – 81,100 (Pay Level-4)
Constable (Tradesman): 21,700 – 69,100 (Pay Level-3)

SSB Recruitment 2023: Application Fee

SC, ST, Ex-servicemen and women candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.

All other category candidates will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 100.
