RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2024: Apply Online For 7,951 Posts
RRB JE Recruitment 2024 Notification: RRB has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to more than seven thousand posts of Junior Engineer. The application process will start from 30th July 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for this recruitment by visiting the official website of Railways, indianrailways.gov.in. Online application forms for Railway Recruitment 2024 will be filled till 11.59 pm on 29 August 2024.

Post Details
A total of 7,951 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Board, these recruitments will be done on Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical Metallurgical Assistant and other posts. Out of the total posts, 17 posts will be filled by Chemical Supervisor or Research and Metallurgical Supervisor or Research (only for Gorakhpur), the remaining posts will be filled by Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical Metallurgical Assistant.

Salary
After training, junior engineer will get basic salary of Rs 35,400. Apart from the basic salary, he gets Dearness Allowance (DA) of ₹ 10,974, which is 31% of the basic salary. This makes the total salary without deductions ₹ 46,374.

RRB will conduct written examination for the recruitment of Junior Engineer. Mandatory training will be given to the candidates who are successful in the recruitment examination and are eligible for the post of Junior Engineer. Candidates will also be given monthly stipend during training.
Application Fee
According to the notification, for this recruitment of Railways, general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500, however, an amount of Rs 400 will be refunded after deducting the bank charges on appearing in the first stage computer-based test. Whereas candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Ex-Serviceman, Women, Transgender, Minority or Economically Backward Class will have to pay only Rs 250. On appearing in the first stage CBT, the amount will be refunded after deducting bank charges.
