RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Details

Online applications for Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment 2024 will start from 20th January, the last date of application is 19th February 2024. A total of 5,696 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Applicants will be selected on the basis of CBT test.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Education Qualification

Applicants wishing to apply for the post of ALP must have passed 10th and have done IIT in the relevant trade from a recognized institute affiliated to NCVT/SCVT.

Trades eligible for ITI include Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio/TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanical (Diesel), Heat Are included. Includes engines, turners, machinists, and refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Age Limit

The minimum age of eligible applicants should be 18 years and maximum 30 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit under Railway Recruitment Board RRB ALP Recruitment Advertisement No. CEN 01/2024 rule.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Salary

The basic pay for RRB Assistant Loco Pilot is Rs 19,900, which is distributed within Level 2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay scale. Apart from the basic salary, ALPs are entitled to various allowances and benefits including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, Night Duty Allowance as per government norms. The total salary of ALP ranges between Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 per month.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

The fee for General/OBC/EWS is Rs 500, for SC/ST/PH and all categories of women candidates it is Rs 250. After appearing in Stage I examination, UR/OBC/EWS will get a refund of Rs 400, while SC/ST/PH/Women candidates will get a refund of Rs 250. The examination fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking fee mode only.
