To be eligible for PGCIL Recruitment 2023, applicants must have completed ITI (Electrical) in Electrician trade from a recognized technical board or institute. Should have higher technical qualification like Diploma, BE or B. Tech without ITI. This is not allowed during the application process or upon joining.
PGCIL Recruitment 2023: Age Limit
Age limit is 27 years as on 12/12/2023. Age relaxation norms are applicable for candidates falling under special categories.
PGCIL Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 200. SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-SM/DEX-SM candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Payment can be made easy through online methods like debit/credit cards, internet banking and other applicable methods.
PGCIL Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
Junior Technician Trainee will be selected on the basis of three stages. First of all, eligible applicants will have to appear in Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates who qualify CBT will have to appear for document verification and medical test.
PGCIL Recruitment 2023: Pay Scale
Candidates selected as Junior Technician Trainee in PGCIL will get a stipend of Rs 18,500 per month during the training period.
After training, they will be inducted as Junior Technician (W-3) with a pay scale of Rs 21,500 to Rs 74,000 (IDA).
On becoming regular, one will get the benefit of basic pay along with other allowances including dearness allowance, various perks and allowances, provident fund, gratuity, pension and leave encashment.
