OSEPA Teacher Recruitment 2023: Odisha School Education Program Authority (OSEPA) has released the notification of Junior Teacher (Planned) Recruitment 2023. Applications have been invited for the recruitment of 20,000 junior teachers in primary and upper primary schools under various revenue districts of the state. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website of OSEPA, osepa.odisha.gov.in.

OSEPA Teacher Recruitment 2023: Details

As per the notice of Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023 notification released by OSEPA, interested candidates can apply only through online mode from September 13, 2023. No other mode of application will be accepted. The last date for submission of online application form is October 10, 2023. The notification reads, “Information about district-wise and category-wise posts will be available on OSEPA website i.e. osepa.odish.gov.in from 11.09.2023.

OSEPA Teacher Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

OSEPA said that the candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in CBT (Computer Based Test) examination. The syllabus of CBT exam has been made available on OSEPA website.

OSEPA Teacher Recruitment 2023: Education Process

Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5) must have two years Diploma in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed) with 50% marks in Higher Secondary (+2) from a recognized board. Apart from this, it is necessary to pass Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-I (OTET-I).

Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8) must have graduation with two years Elementary Education Diploma or at least 50% in graduation or B. Ed with postgraduation. It is necessary to pass Odisha TET-II.

OSEPA Teacher Recruitment 2023: Age Limit

The minimum age of applicants should be 18 years and maximum 38 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given maximum age relaxation as per government norms.
