Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2023: Education Qualification

Primary Teacher: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 50% marks and B. Ed from recognized University or Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Elementary Education.

TGT: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 50% marks in the concerned subject and B.Ed degree. OR 4 years degree in B.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed and must have passed STET Paper I exam.

PGT: Master’s degree with 50% marks in the concerned subject and B.Ed. or B.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed with master’s degree in the concerned subject or 4 years’ degree in OR Master’s degree with 55% marks and B.Ed – Med 3 years’ degree. Must have passed STET Paper II exam.

Age Limit as on 01/08/2023

• Minimum Age: 18 Years for Primary Teacher
• Minimum Age: 21 Years for TGT/PGT Teacher
• Maximum Age: 37 Years for Male and 40 Years for Female
