Education Qualification of Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2023

The minimum educational qualification for applying to constable posts is 12th pass.

The minimum educational qualification prescribed for Ex-Servicemen is Matriculation.

All candidates must have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language specified by the Government of Punjab.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should be more than 18 years and less than 28 years.

There will also be a provision for relaxation in the maximum age limit for reserved category candidates.

Age will be calculated on the basis of 01 January 2023.

Selection Process for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2023

Candidates will be selected through three phase examination.

Stage-I – 2 will be computer based examination which will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type questions.

Stage-II – Will consist of Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST) while Stage-III will consist of Document Scrutiny.
