UPSC Recruitment 2024 Notification: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the recruitment notification. UPSC has started the online application process for Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service Examination.

UPSC Recruitment 2024 Notification

Interested and eligible candidates should visit the official website of the Commission upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in to participate in the UPSC IES and ISS examination. Interested candidates must submit their online application on UPSC website before the last date. The last date for submission of applications is 9th May. Candidates will be able to make necessary changes in their application form from May 10 to May 16.

According to the official announcement of UPSC Recruitment 2024, 51 posts will be filled for the above mentioned post. Of these, 33 posts are for ISS and 18 posts are for IES.

Age Limit

Candidates age for UPSC IES and ISS exam should not be at least 21 years and not more than 30 years. However, the reserved category has exemption as per the rules of the Central Government.

Education Qualification

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics, as well as a Post Graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a recognized university or institute.

Application Fee

To apply for UPSC Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service examination, general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. However, Women, SC, ST or candidates with benchmark disability are not required to pay the fee. Application fee can be paid in any branch of State Bank of India. Candidates can also pay the application fee through online banking or Visa, Master, Credit, Debit or UPI card in any bank.

Selection Process

UPSC Recruitment 2024 Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Prelims Exam, Main Exam and Interview or Personal Interview. According to the official notice, the examination will be conducted on June 23. Candidates who qualify the examinations for Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service will be called for interview and personality test.
