Educational Qualification
For Graduate Apprentice, one should have a graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Mining Engineering from a recognized institute. Whereas for Diploma Apprentice, it is necessary to have a Diploma in Metallurgy or Civil or Computer Science or IT Engineering.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for recruitment to these posts on the basis of merit.
Shortlisted candidates on the basis of application will be called for document verification.
Only those candidates can apply for these posts who have not received apprenticeship training before or currently. In the notification issued by SAIL, it has been clearly stated that for these posts, preference will be given to the candidates of Chhattisgarh state.
