OPSC PGT Recruitment 2024: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications for OPSC Post Graduate Teacher Recruitment 2024. The application process for Odisha PGT Teacher Recruitment 2024 has been started from 31st December. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Commission, opsc.gov.in. Online application forms will be filled by March 2.

A total of 1375 posts of PGT teachers will be filled in the state through OPSC PGT Recruitment 2024. In this, 53 posts are reserved for disabled persons (whose permanent disability is 40% or more), 41 posts are reserved for ex-servicemen and 14 posts are reserved for sportspersons.

OPSC PGT Recruitment 2024: Education Qualification

To apply for PGT posts, candidates must have a Master’s degree in B. Ed with 50 percent marks. B. Ed degree is not mandatory for some subjects. Candidates having degree or diploma certificate in computer subject can also apply.

Candidates applying for this recruitment of Odisha Public Service Commission should be able to speak and write Odia language. Apart from this, the candidate must have studied Odia language subject in school or college.

OPSC PGT Recruitment 2024: Age Limit

To apply for PGT teacher post, candidates must be above 21 years and below 45 years. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in maximum age limit as per the rules of the state government.

OPSC PGT Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

There will be three stages of OPSC PGT selection process-

• Written Exam
• Personality Test
• Interview

There will be three papers in the written examination. All papers will be for a total of 100 marks, although the number of questions will be 100. Candidates will get two hours to solve these 100 questions. There is also negative marking in this exam. For wrong answer to any question, 25 percent marks will be deducted.
