Indian Army Religious Teachers Recruitment 2022: Indian Army has recruited many religious teacher posts including Pandit, Maulvi, and Pastor. There are more than 100 vacancies of religious teachers for the post of Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) for RRT 91 and 92 courses. Age Limit
Eligible the candidate’s age should be minimum of 25 years and a maximum of 36 years as on 01 October 2022.
Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per government norms.
Work of religious teachers
Qualified religious teachers who get government jobs in these posts will be responsible for conducting various rituals in regimental/unit religious institutions for soldiers. Apart from this, attending funerals, praying with chants and convocations for sick soldiers in the hospital, meeting soldiers serving sentences, giving special religious instructions to officers, soldiers, and their families, besides attending religious institutions.
Selection Process
Eligible applicants will be selected on the basis of Medical tests, Physical tests, Screening, Written Tests, and Interviews.
Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of Paper-I and Paper II. Indian Army RT Exam will be held on 26 February 2023. To qualify in the written examination, candidates have to obtain 40 marks out of 100.
