GATE Exam 2024 Registration, Notification, Exam Details
GATE 2024 Registration, Exam and Result Date: Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru has released the information bulletin of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. As per the schedule, the registration process is expected to start from 30th August. Candidates can apply for the exam through the official site of IISC GATE, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
GATE Exam 2024: Details
The registration process for GATE 2024 was earlier scheduled to begin from August 24, however, that date has been postponed. As per the official website, the last date of application is 29 September 2023. The extended period will end on October 13, 2023. This time a new test paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) has been added in GATE 2024.

GATE 2024 exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024 and the admit card will be made available on January 3, 2024.
The exam will be conducted in two sessions morning and afternoon. GATE 2024 will be conducted in multiple centers spread over more than 200 cities/towns in India only. The answer key of GATE 2024 will be released on 21 February and the result (GATE Result 2024) will be declared on 16 March.

GATE Exam 2024: Application Fee
The application fee is Rs.900 for Female/SC/ST/PWD candidates for regular term and Rs.1400 for extended term. For other candidates, the application fee is Rs.1800 for regular term and Rs.2300 for extended term.
GATE Exam 2024: Exam Pattern
Please tell that there will be a total of 30 test papers in GATE 2024. The test papers of GATE 2024 will be in English and will be completely objective type. There are three different types of questions: Multiple-Choice (MCQ), Multiple-Section (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT). In the MCQ, out of the four options only one is correct. In the MSQ, one or more than one of the four options will be correct and for NAT questions, the answer will be keyed in using the virtual keypad.
