BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2023: Education Qualification

• For BPSC Primary Teacher Recruitment, the candidate must have Indian citizenship and must have passed Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) Paper-1 or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-1.
• Teachers appointed before 2012 who have passed the proficiency test have been exempted from the Teacher Eligibility Test.

• According to the rules made for CTET candidates in BTET 2017 exam, it is mandatory for them to score 60% marks. People belonging to General Category, Backward Class, Most Backward Class, SC and ST category are required to score 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
• Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50 percent marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education. Or
• Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002. Or
• Must have graduation and two year diploma in elementary education.

BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

Eligible applicants will be selected on the basis of objective type written examination. There will be a total of 150 questions on language and general knowledge in the 2.30 hour exam. Part-I will consist of 30 questions and Part-II will consist of 120 questions. Each question will be of one mark.
