Eligibility

To apply for these posts, candidates should have B.Sc. Nursing or GNM degree from a recognized university or institute.

Number of Posts

According to the notification issued by the Bihar Health Department, a total of 2100 posts of Community Health Officer (CHO) will be recruited.

Age Limit

To apply for the posts of Community Health Officer (CHO) in Bihar, the minimum age of the candidates is 21 years while the maximum age is 42 years. At the same time, reserved candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.

Application Fee

UR/EWS/BC/MBC category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 while for SC/ST and women category candidates the fee is Rs 250.

Salary

The selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs 25,000 per month.
